One of my all-time favorite photos from when I lived in a dry cabin on a remote Alaskan lake, working for an adventure lodge. It was September, and the lake was teeming with salmon returning to spawn. During a quiet canoe ride home, the stillness was interrupted by splashing and rustling in the brush. Suddenly, a brown bear emerged from the willows, a salmon gripped in its jaws, and water dripping from its long claws. We made eye contact as I snapped a photo that will forever be my favorite.

Image is printed on a sheet of Epson Cold Press Natural Fine Art Paper that gives it a high quality mat finish with a 1” border. Frame not included. Limited edition prints.
