Brandon began taking photos to show others the beauty he sees in the world. He saw the power of the social media movement and began sharing his art, via Instagram, in 2013. His posts often capture untouched, natural landscapes of Alaska. An avid outdoorsman and adventurer, it is important to Brandon to spread the divinity of the wilderness, through his lens. His passion is to open the doors for people looking for the adventure of a lifetime in Alaska.

Brandon was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. From a young age, he was exploring remote areas from his dad’s airplane or out of their family cabin at Judd Lake. Brandon grew up regularly fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, snow machining, and flying, weather permitting. Brandon spent 7 years traveling between Alaska and New England to accommodate his high school and college hockey careers. He picked up photography in college after exploring Alaska during summers. After graduating from Trinity College in 2017, Brandon returned home to follow his passion. Since graduating Brandon has won the Alaska Magazine photo contest, been a finalist for Smithsonian Travel photo of the year, and was nominated for best night photo by the Fine Arts Photography Awards. He now works with Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, supplying photos and videos for their website and social media as well as the apparel company Stio. You can read more about his life in the latest USAtoday Hunt and Fish print in which he was featured.
