Hallo Bay
Captured during a rainy camping trip in Hallo Bay, Katmai National Park. Most days were wet and overcast, with bears frequently moving between sedge patches in search of their next meal. I had a particular shot in mind and patiently waited as a brown bear that had been lingering nearby finally crossed the stream and stepped into frame. I couldn’t have planned it better—he walked up a log while another bear watched closely. With raindrops on the water, a misty mountain backdrop, and the perfect positioning of the bears, this became one of my favorite photos.
Image is printed on a sheet of Canson Baryta Photographique II Fine Art Paper to give it a glossy finish brining out the colors and detail, with a 1” border. Frame is only available for 13”×19” prints. Limited edition prints.
