Tordrillo Mountains
One of my favorite photos, taken while flying through the Tordrillo Mountains in a helicopter after weeks of stormy weather, captures the stunning patterns left behind by wet, heavy snow. Seeing the way snow is able to stick to the steepest cliffs and peaks and decorate the mountains is one of my favorite parts about winter, as the landscape transforms completely.
